报告人简介：Dr. Qingping Zou received a BSc in Physics from Nanjing University and PhD from Scripps Institution of Oceanography, University of California-San Diego. After that, Dr. Zou worked at Johns Hopkins University, MIT-Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and Dalhousie University. Dr. Zou has been a Reader (US equiv. of Full/Assoc. Prof.) in the School of Marine Science and Engineering at University of Plymouth in UK and Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Maine in USA. Her research interests lie in ocean waves, breaking waves, turbulent boundary layers, marine renewable energy, flow interaction with rigid and flexible structures, coastal flooding and erosion during extreme events in a changing climate, sediment transport and scour, and coastal ecology and aquaculture. She has 100 refereed publications including 44 papers published at leading international journals. Dr. Zou has been elected as a panel member for the Ocean Science Division of National science foundation of USA.
